Hi guys and welcome back to a new toy blog. In today’s episode I’m going to be telling you all about the Hot Octopuss Pulse Duo. There has been a Pulse Duo in the past but this is the new version so there’s lots coming up in today’s blog to cover this version of the toy.
I’m going to shut up and let’s get into it. Hi guys I’m UKDAZZZ as always and as i said at the start of the blog I will be showing you the new Hot Octopuss Pulse Duo.
Who Are Hot Octopuss
If you haven’t heard of Hot Octopuss before they make sex toys inspired by the medical industry.
For example this Pulse toy. This was made originally to make paralysed men ejaculate. Albeit it was a bigger machine but it’s been shrunk down by Hot Octopuss and they’ve turned it into a sex toy.
What’s Coming Up In This Blog
So what’s coming up in today’s blog? Well I’m going to be giving you an unboxing of the Pulse Duo. I’m then going to show you what comes with it and how to use it. I’m then going to tell you a little bit more about the toy and I’m going to give you a review at the end.
So there is lots coming up in today’s blog. I’m going to shut up and let’s get into the unboxing blog.
Unboxing The Pulse Duo
Okay guys we’re going to start off like we do in all my blogs and show you the outside of the box.
This is so you can see when you order from Hot Octopuss that it is discreet. There was a shipping label but there was no mention of Hot Octopuss on the box. So let’s open it up and show you what’s inside.
As you can see we have the new version of the Hot Octopuss Pulse Duo. On the front of the box is a picture of the Pulse Duo. On the left hand side it shows you how to use it and how it should be worn.
On the back it tells you a little bit more about the Pulse Duo and finally on the right hand side it tells you about Hot Octopuss patented technology and how it’s used in the toy. Okay that’s enough about the outside of the box let’s dive into the inside. We’re going to slide out the inside packaging and we’re going to find our Pulse Duo and the remote control.
Left inside is two instruction manuals. What we’ll do now is take everything else that’s in the packaging. As you can see we have our remote control.
Next out is the newly designed Pulse Duo. Underneath that is the toy’s storage bag. You’ll then find your magnetic USB charging cable and finally at the bottom you’ll find a small screwdriver.
So as you can see there is lots that come with the Pulse Duo. Don’t worry I will show you what the screwdriver’s for later in the blog. What we’re going to do now is take a closer look at the Pulse Duo.
A Closer Look At The Pulse Duo
One new feature is the face of the toy has been changed. The new shape gives extra pleasure to your partner while she’s sat on top of you. The vibrations from the Pulse Duo now travel better through the toy.
On the inside of the toy is the oscillator. This is what vibrates at the head of the penis and makes you cum.
There are two buttons either side of the toy.
How To Operate The Pulse Duo
The two on the left control the intensity of the toy. The two on the right turn it on and off and change the oscillation pattern. To turn on the power button this is the one above the top of the lightning bolt.
Hold it down for a couple of seconds and once you release your finger you’ll see all the lights are illuminated. Your Pulse Duo will also start oscillating. Use the lightning bolt button to change the oscillation patterns.
There are nine oscillation patterns and seven vibration patterns. What I’ll quickly do now is open up the toy and show you it oscillating. You can also see that there is a light that runs around the outside of the oscillator.
And as I said earlier in the video the other two buttons is a plus and minus button and these increase or decrease the vibrations and the oscillation speed. The bottom one decreases it and the top one increases it. The charging port for your Pulse Duo is on the bottom of the toy.
How To Charge The Pulse Duo
As you’ll see there is a specific way your charging cable needs to be fitted. The charging cable has this exact pattern. This means there’ll be no mistakes when you’re charging your Pulse Duo.
How To Change The Battery Of The Pulse Duo Remote And Activate It
Earlier in the blog you may have noticed that there is a screwdriver that comes with your Pulse Duo and you need this to activate the remote control and change the batteries. So if we take the remote control we can turn it over and take off the cover that’s on the back. This is easy to remove.
All you need to do is pull it off. You’ll see a white tab that’s underneath. This is preserving the battery whilst it’s in transit.
You can also see the screw that needs to be taken off to remove the tab. So I’m going to quickly unscrew this now and remove the tab to activate our remote control. Once the back plate has been removed pull on the tab and it will eject the battery.
All you need to do then is push the battery back in. Finally all you need to do is put on the back plate and screw it back together. We’re now ready to use our remote control with our Pulse Duo.
How To Use The Pulse Duo Remote
So we’re going to hold down the power button and turn on our Pulse Duo. This will start our Pulse Duo oscillating. To start it vibrating hold down the circle button in the bottom right hand side of the remote.
You’ll feel the toy start to vibrate. The plus and minus buttons adjust the intensity levels. If you press the crown button in the bottom left it will turn the vibrator on to maximum.
To cycle through the vibration patterns all you need to do is repeatedly push the power button. With each push it will change the vibration. To turn off the vibrations all you need to do is hold down the power button again.

More Information About The Pulse Duo
The next thing I’m going to do is tell you a little bit more about the toy. There are nine oscillation patterns and seven vibration patterns. It has a three hour charge time and can be used for up to one hour.
The Pulse Duo is also fully waterproof but I believe the remote control isn’t. It has a noise rating of 59 decibels and the remote control can be used up to three metres away. Now when it comes to sizing there is some minimum and maximum recommendations.
Ideally you want a minimum penis size of three and a quarter inches which is 8.5 centimetres when flatted. There is no maximum length because the toy is open ended so it doesn’t really matter. If you are smaller than that you can still benefit from the toy it just may not be as effective.
Now when it comes to girth they recommend that there’s a maximum of eight inches which is 20 centimetres. That’s the whole maximum circumference of the penis. As a diameter that is two and a half inches which is 6.5 centimetres.
You can obviously be smaller than that the toy is open back so you don’t have to worry. If you are bigger than the two and a half inch diameter I would personally recommend getting one of those wristbands that they get for charity events. I would put that around the toy and that will keep the toy in place.
The Hot Octopuss Pulse Comparison
Now you might be wondering what’s the difference between the old Pulse Duo and the new one. Well the new Pulse Duo is 40% more compact so in all it’s just in general smaller. They’ve also made it more powerful.
The remote control has also been redesigned and has two extra buttons with more features. Now when they made this smaller they also gave it a bit of a facelift. They’ve added this extra ridge that runs along the face of the toy.
This is so when your partner sits on top they’ve got something to grind against. So more pleasure for you and your partner. Now as there are different versions of the Pulse toy I have left a comparison on my website.

Okay I think that's all the boring information out of the way, let's get into the review.
The Hot Octopuss Pulse Duo Review
Now the first time I heard of Octopuss I was sent the Kiiroo Interactive version. They did a team up and they brought the Kiiroo Tech with the Octopuss toy and merged the two together.
Hot Octopuss contacted me independently and asked if I wanted to try their Pulse Duo. And this is every bit as good as the Interactive version. What I do like is that it comes with a remote control which means that I don't have to play with my phone whilst I'm using the toy.
And it's so easy to use. You just put your penis inside whilst you're flaccid and turn it on and it does the work for you. I wasn't even hard when I put it on and within about two minutes I was fully hard and within about five or ten minutes I was shooting my load.
Now depending on what vibration pattern and oscillation pattern you're using you can extend that time or you can reduce it. I do love that it's completely hands-free. I like to put a charity band that runs around the toy just to hold it in place whilst it's on.
Personally I don't want to risk the toy moving and that's all the wrist band is there to do. Just hold it in that one place for an extended time and I can literally sit back and relax.
