How To Become A Webcam Model (Sites And Signing Up)
How To Become A Webcam Model (Sites And Signing Up)
Hi, guys, and welcome back to part two of how to become a webcam model I’m UKDAZZZ. if you haven’t seen my previous blogs I am going to teach you all you need to know about how to become a webcam model.
Getting started As A webcam Model
Step 1
So I’m going to dive right in today with what you will need to get online and Live streaming as fast as possible. First of all, you will need your bank details to sign up for a Paxum account. Paxum acts as a payment gateway between you and the cam site. This Account works basically the same as PayPal but I believe all cam modeling sites offer it as a form of payment method.
You can have cheques and direct wire transfers sent to you but you normally have to have earned more money before the site pays you directly. For example, you may on to have a check sent you may have to earn $200 dollars before the site sends but if it goes through Paxum you may only have to earn $50. As all sites use Paxum it makes it 10 times easier when having everything to go into 1 account and from there you deposit into your bank.
Before that money moves over to your account, you will have to have earned a minimum amount before you can request the Payment. To start off, we’ve set your Paxum account up, link it directly to your bank account.
So when you signing up for Paxum, make sure you have your ID (passport driving license, that kind of thing). and your bank details. when signing up with Paxum I’m fairly certain you have to also take a photo of you holding a piece of paper with your name and the current date.
What Next? After Signing Up To A Webcam Model
Once you have a Paxum account and waiting to be approved. you can now start, Can start signing up to the cam sites. I predominantly use the following 3 sites with my own Private Show Bookings Page. They are Streamate, Chaturbate, and SkyPrivate. All take a different amount of time to get approved varying from a few hours to a couple of days.
All 3 sites are basically to set up except SkyPrivate which is slightly different but I will cover that shortly. Although I rarely use other cam sites they all follow the same basics as follows.
- Choose a username (your cam model name mine is UKDAZZZ) and password
- A photo of you uploaded with you holding a piece of paper
- A profile photo
- A description about you (likes dislikes that sort of thing. and what you are into and doing)
- and you payment method (Paxum or what ever you have chosen).
That is the basics of signing up for all sites. Should you be a couple or group each person will need to upload their ID and photo to that account. if any of you do solo shows you should consider having your own separate account so you can be in the right categories on the cam site.
A common problem I have noticed that people keep having (mainly because the Cam site doesn’t explain it very well) is their ID / Photo has been rejected. 9 out of 10 times it is because of the same problem. So What is this simple problem I hear you ask? It is fairly straight forward but when you take your photo make sure it is the correct way round and not blurry. That’s it so simple and straight forward but the amount of people who have this problem is crazy.
So when you take your photo if you are using the front-facing camera you need to flip the photo so you can read all the information normally, Cam sites see hundreds of applications all the time and don’t have time to work out what you have sent to them. so it’s easier to reject it than it is to approve. That one simple trick could mean you are approved in a few hours or days compared to however many attempts it takes for you to get right.
Why I use These Webcam Sites As A Webcam Model.
Why Sign Up To SkyPrivate?
Now earlier on I mention SkyPrivate being slightly different when signing up. Although the process is the same to get an account you will also need a Skype account. Along with this SkyPrivate will need to link to that account and you will need to download a separate app that also links to your Skype that monitors your pay-per-view.
Once set up this sits in your system tray in Windows and Mac(so make sure you remember to log in each session or set to auto-login for skype and the plug-in). Once logged in you will have a notification that pops up saying this person wants to talk to you. It will tell you how much money they normally spend how long their calls are on average etc. If a person hasn’t enough money in their account it will tell you whether to answer or not.
It’s also worth remembering it is Pay-Per-Minute not paid per second, so if you have a show that goes on for 10 minutes and 59 seconds, and it cuts off, that’s a minutes worth of call you do not get paid for. So try and get them to stick around until just after the minute mark. it could be the difference between you wasting 59 seconds or earning an extra X amount.
So it really is simple, working in the background, and don’t really have to do anything, just keep on top of your notifications, because they’re very easy to overlook or miss sometimes.
Why Sign Up To Chaturbate?
The other company, I use obviously Chaturbate, which is very well known in the webcamming community. I think everyone at some point goes on Chaturbate. It’s a token Based Payment System. What this means is the client gives you tokens, each token is worth 5 cents or $0.05 which you convert when you cash out.
Be very mindful when using Chaturbate (and any token-based site) of your pricing. Because if you charge 200 tokens for example to do something, just be remember how much a token is worth. I Believe LiveJasmin and flirt4free are also token-based.
Why Sign Up To Streamate?
And finally, the one site that I use the most, where you’ll see me every day is a Streamate. I like it because it’s a really simple site to use. Their technical response team is amazingly fast. If you or a customer has a problem they get back to you almost immediately and working on a fix.
I personally have never had a payment issue I know a couple of models had and they found a way to get the money to them instantly. It’s in their interest to get you or your client back online and start earning their money as quickly as possible.
Another thing I like is that everything you earn is shown in real money, no converting tokens to see how much is there. They show it exactly how it is and do all the converting for you. They do a gold system for tips but when you view your statement they show the monetary value.
Why To Avoid Third Party Webcam Model Sign up
So how do you know you are signing up directly? You can click on one of the links I have been scattering about the page or by clicking here. There are sites that claim to be the hosting site but they will more than likely be third-party companies claiming to be who you work for you don’t and they are taking a small percentage from you as a model. It’s not a lot but they are hoping for the volume of people not knowing. If you are new to this how would you know?
The links I have posted are for the site providers directly, so sign up in confidence that you are on a trusted platform from a very reputable company. I will be cheeky here and say if you do decide to stream with Streamate could you send me your username and email as I would get a small signing bonus from them. In no way do you lose out by doing this I just take a little of Streamate’s money, not yours.
So when signing up for any of the Cam modelling sites, the things that you will need, again is your ID, your now approved Paxum account, or if you’ve put in your bank details, bank details go in, and the piece of paper again, that says your username and today’s date, every site does it this way.
Trusted 3rd Party WebCam Sites
There are a couple of trusted 3rd party cam sites. The following 2 sites drive traffic from their own sources and offer the exact same pay-out systems as the parent sites.
Wildcamxxx
The first is WildCamXXX.com run by WildGroupXXX.com this is a directory that lists the most popular adult content online and best adult toys. this is worth singing up to as there will be OnlyFans listings for models for free advertising.
GooningTV
The second site is GooningTV.com this site gets most of its traffic from reddit. the owner has a number of very large reddit groups and will send traffic to your webcam stream for free. this is well worth signing up to as he also has groups for you to post in.
So Just A Quick Recap
Remember to you you should sign up for a payment gateway like Paxum. Always make sure you take your photos so they are not blurry or flipped so they can not be read. Check if you sign up for a token base site you know the token’s value. not sign up for third-party sites you will be out of pocket, use my direct links.
So You Are Signed Up And Have Been Approved As A webCam Model
All sites do try to help you start by promoting your account for free for approximately two weeks, at least. Some may be more like a month. Whilst they promote you will be higher ranking on the homepage. You will be recommended to more people and you will be in the new model section
This is your time you need to be promoting yourself as much as possible on social media. Don’t sit there and think this is great this site’s promoting me I don’t need to do anything.
If you fall into this trap or mindset when they eventually stop promoting you your ratings will fall off a cliff if you haven’t helped yourself. set up social media and start sending three, four posts a day. This is where I have seen so many fail.
But they have done none of the hard work. A lot of people think this is a get rich quick thing and if you are a young twink or have massive boobs it can be but looks fade and boobs sag lol. If you have done your groundwork you will have people coming back when your balls are dragging on the floor.
All Sites Have Rules When Web Camming
So it should go without saying all sites have rules guidelines and laws for you to abide by. Stick to them. You may ask what is the problem you breaking a rule here or there but if you get caught you are jeopardizing your account and your ability to make money.
They are there to protect you and those who could be watching.
I think I have covered everything, I needed to with the process of how to become a webcam model and signing up. If you’ve got any questions, hit me up in the comments. I’ll answer all answer the questions.
