With Texas rages war on porn sites like Chaturbate and Xhamster issuing fines and Pornhub blocking Texas from its services. I have to ask the question is it time to sign up to a VPN service?
This will probably not be the only sites that will be targeted by the state of Texas.
Why Did Pornhub ban Texas?
Pornhub stopped all services to the state of Texas due to the states new laws on age verification on adult sites. In protest to the states new HB 1181 bill such sites are going to have to also show health sex messages on the site with messages such as Porn is “potentially biologically addictive, is proven to harm human brain development,” “weakens brain function,” “is associated with low self-esteem, body image, and mental illnesses,”
Pornhub issued a statement saying it wasn’t against age verification laws but has an issue with the waning messages that viewers of the site will have to see saying it is a the state is “impinging on the rights of adults to access protected speech, it fails strict scrutiny by employing the least effective and yet also the most restrictive means of accomplishing Texas’s stated purpose of allegedly protecting minors,”

Why Did Texas= Fine Chaturbate and Xhamster?
Just days after due to the new laws on age verification the state issued fines to both Chaturbate and Xhamster. After appeal which was in favour of the state they was fined in total in excess of $3.45 million.
What Other Porn Sites Have Blocked Texas Viewers?
RedTube and YouPorn have also removed their services to potential viewers in Texas. Will there be more sites doing this? Will other sites be fined? who knows yet.
